[amaran 150c and 300c] FAQs

We have observed dark shadows on the LCD screens of the amaran 300c and 150c. Is this a normal phenomenon?

This phenomenon is only visible at specific angles and in relatively dark environments. The reason for this is that the displays of the 150C and 300C models are segment displays (unable to show red), so a red silk screen has been applied to the display's polarizer. This allows the red over-temperature protection reminder logo to be visible when the product activates over-temperature protection. Firstly, this phenomenon occurs at a fixed position on the display—aside from showing the over-temperature protection indicator, no other graphics are displayed at this location on the 150C and 300C screens.
