How to Update your Fixtures with Sidus Link

Sidus Link is a mobile lighting control app for Android and iOS.  It has the ability to control all Aputure and amaran lights since the release of the LS 300dII. For more information, visit Sidus.Link

1. Update Firmware on all connected lights
2. Remotely change the manual parameters of the lights (Intensity, Color Temperature*, Hue*, Saturation*, +/- Green*, effects*)

*with compatible lights containing these features.

Updating Firmware with Sidus Link

All Aputure products include  the Sidus BT (Bluetooth Mesh) functionality that is compatible with Sidus Link. 

To update your firmware, most of the lights have a very similar operation to below. Check out individual articles on Updating Firmware via Sidus Link for specific instructions.

1. Enable Bluetooth or Sidus BT on the light.  This is normally found un the Bluetooth Settings Menu.
2. Next, Reset the Bluetooth on the light with "Bluetooth Reset."  This will unlink any previously linked control device.
3. In Sidus Link, press the green plus sign in the top right corner. Sidus Link will find and add the fixture.
4. Next, press the 3 dots next to the fixture and select "Update Firmware"
5. Alternatively, click the 3 dots next to "All Fixtures" and Sidus Link will check the firmware of each light and update accordingly.
