Control
1) Rotate the Select Wheel to adjust the intensity of the light from 0-100% in 0.1% increments. The speed with which you turn the knob will change the rate of increase or decrease.
2) Press the MENU button to enter the Menu Interface. In the Menu Interface, select between:
- DMX Mode
- Lead-Follow Mode
- Dimming Curve
- Fan Mode
- Studio Mode
- Frequency Selection
- Control System
- Language
- Factory Reset
- Update
- Product Information
- Custom FX
DMX Mode
Press the MENU Button to enter the menu interface, rotate the Select Wheel and short press to enter the DMX mode.
DMX Address: Rotate the Select Wheel to set the DMX Address.
DMX Loss Behavior: Use the Select button to select Black out /fade to Black /Hold last setting/ Hold 2 min& fade Out.
- Black out -when the DMX signal is lost, it will be Black out.
- Fade to Black -after DMX signal is lost, it will fade to Black in 60 seconds.
- Hold last setting -After DMX signal is lost, remember the last control setting.
- Hold 2 min& Fade Out -After the DMX signal is lost, keep the last control setting for two minutes, and then Fade to Black within 60 seconds.
DMX Profile: Rotate the Select Wheel and press to select Lighting / Effect /Lighting& Effects 8-bit or 16-bit.
DMX Termination: toggle Auto-termination on or off.
*The fade-out time decreases as the percentage of brightness decreases. When the brightness output is 100%, the fade-out time is 60 seconds, which decreases in sequence.
**If the signal is reconnected, the DMX console will continue to maintain the signal output as same as before.
DMX Address Screen or DMX Settings Screen must be visible for Hard Line DMX or CRMX data to have affect on the fixture.
Lead-Follow Mode
In the Lead-Follow Mode, the user can set the device as the lead light and the follow light. When adjusting the functions and parameters of the lead lamp, the follow lamp will automatically adjust to the same state as the lead lamp.
Set the Lead light: Connect the light fixtures through the DMX cable, select a Light fixture and press the MENU button to enter the menu interface. Rotate the Select Wheel to select the Lead-Follow Mode. Select YES in the setting interface to set the light as the lead light; the other light fixtures connected to the lead light will become the follow lights. If you need to change the follow lamp to the lead lamp, repeat the above operation for the follow lamp.
Note: The Light fixtures connected through the DMX connectors can have only one lead lamp after entering the lead-follow mode, and the rest of the fixtures will be follow lamps.
Dimming Curve
Press the MENU button to enter the menu interface. Rotate the Select Wheel and press the button to enter the Dimming Curve selection menu. Using the wheel to choose from Linear, S-Curve, Exponential (Exp) or Logarithmic (Log) dimming curves, and press the MENU button to confirm the selection.
Fan Mode
Press the MENU button to enter the menu interface, rotate the Select wheel and press to enter the Fan Mode. Turn the Select wheel to choose from smart/ high/ medium/ silent mode, and then press the Select wheel to confirm the selection.
*Silent: Deactivate All Fans, Limit Output to 100W.
*When overheat symbol appears on the Control Box screen, please follow the text underneath to adjust the Fan Mode to Smart or High. If the internal temperature of the lamp reaches the threshold that needs to be cooled, the lamp will automatically shut down due to overheat protection.
Studio Mode
Press the MENU button to enter the menu interface. Rotate the Select Wheel and press to enter Studio Mode interface. Press the Select wheel again to turn the Studio Mode ON or OFF.
Whenever the Studio Mode is "ON", the fixture powers on only when AC power is present; whenever the Studio Mode is "OFF", the fixture powers on only when the Power Switch is in the ON position and the lamp is receiving power from either AC or it's DC source.
If your lamps are being used in a rigged environment, enabling Studio Mode would allowed you to power off the lamps using the AC power provided; the next day, providing power via AC again, would turn the lamps back on without a need to physically toggle the "Power" button/switch.
Frequency Selection
Press the MENU button to enter the menu interface. Rotate the Select Wheel and press to enter Frequency Selection interface. Rotate the Select wheel to adjust the light frequency by ±100Hz every turn.
Control System
LS 1200d Pro has three remote control methods: Bluetooth, LumenRadio and Ethernet. Only one control mode can be used at one time.
Bluetooth
In the control interface, rotate the Select Wheel and press to enter the Bluetooth mode interface. Then, you can choose to turn ON or OFF or Bluetooth Reset. Select Bluetooth Reset YES to allow the Control Cox to be paired to a new device.
When Bluetooth is "ON", the serial number is displayed below. After pairing with a device, your fixture will be able to connect to and be controlled with the Sidus Link App.
"Bluetooth" is referring to Sidus Link Mesh Bluetooth.
If BT Settings (Sidus Link Mesh BT) is enabled ("ON"), then CRMX is disabled ("OFF") automatically. If CRMX is enabled ("ON"), the BT Settings (Sidus Mesh BT) are disabled ("OFF") automatically.
If the Bluetooth Reset is unsuccessful,【Reset Failed】will pop up and display for 2 seconds followed by returning back to the Bluetooth interface.
CRMX
Rotate the select wheel and short press to enter the LumenRadio CRMX interface. When CRMX Status (Lumenradio) is "ON", the Control Box will continuously search for a linkable signal in the background to connect with. "Unpair" will disconnect the currently established connection so that other signal transmitters can be linked.

If BT Settings (Sidus Link Mesh BT) is enabled ("ON"), then CRMX is disabled ("OFF") automatically. If CRMX is enabled ("ON"), the BT Settings (Sidus Mesh BT) are disabled ("OFF") automatically.
Ethernet
Rotate the Select Wheel and short press to enter the Ethernet screen. You can set the IP manually in Manual Set IP interface or obtain an IP automatically in the Automatic Obtain IP interface.
Language
Press the MENU button to enter the menu interface. Rotate the Select Wheel and press to enter the Language menu. You can rotate the Select wheel to select English or Chinese, and then press the Select wheel to confirm the selection.
Factory Reset
Press the MENU button to enter the menu interface, rotate the Select wheel to select and press to enter the Factory Reset interface.
The factory default settings are:
Fan: smart mode
Intensity: 50%
Bluetooth (Sidus Mesh BT): ON
Studio Mode: OFF
Dimming Curve: Linear
DMX channel number: 001
Language: English
FX: Fireworks; Frequency: 5
Update
Press the MENU button to enter the menu interface. Rotate the Select Wheel and press to enter the Update menu. You can update the firmware in the Update interface, and view the firmware version number.
- Download the firmware from the product support page at aputure.com.
- Copy to the root of the USB-C drive.
- Select Update Firmware and then "Yes"
The Firmware File should be an unzipped ".bin" file on the root of your USB-C flash drive.
To see what Firmware Version the fixture is currently using, select "Firmware Version".
Firmware update can also be done via Sidus Link app using OTA (Over the Air Technology).
Product Information
Press the MENU button to enter the menu interface. Rotate the Select Wheel and press to enter product information interface which includes the hardware version number and UID of the product.
