[MT Pro] Controls FAQ
Controls FAQ of MT Pro
CAN I INDIVIDUALLY CONTROL THE PIXELS ON THE MT PRO MANUALLY? OR DO I NEED EXTERNAL CONTROLS?
Users can access and activate different Pixel FX; however, individual control of all the pixels available in the MT Pro can only be accessed through external control protocols, like CRMX or DMX. This is to simplify the process of operating a compact fixture with a naturally smaller screen, as individual control over all the pixels would result in a very complex interface. For users who don’t need to access all 36 pixels at once, the MT Pro also comes programmed with a variety of DMX profiles that bundle the pixels into groups of 2, 3, 4, 6, and 9.
CAN I CONNECT TO THE MT PRO USING WIRED DMX (5-PIN XLR DMX CABLES)?
Shortly after the release of the MT Pro, an Aputure USB Type-C to 5-Pin XLR DMX In & Out Dongle will be available for the MT Pro. In order to maintain its compact size, the only port on the body of the fixture is the USB-C Port, which is also used for power/charging. This dongle, which is sold separately, will allow users to control the MT Pro via wired DMX.
