[Service] How Should I Clean the COB Glass Filter on my unit?

Recommended method of cleaning the COB glass filter

To clean the COB glass filter on any Light Storm, STORM, Electro Storm or Amaran COB unit, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol and microfiber wipes.

We recommend using Microfiber wipes over standard paper towels, as paper towels can more easily scratch the glass filter.

For units that have a Mixing glass filter (like the STORM units/LS600c/X) it can also be helpful to use a Q-Tip cotton swab to get in-between the bumps in the glass.

We DO NOT recommend removing the glass filter to clean it.

Removing the glass filter and exposing the COB can result in dust/other debris entering the COB and can cause further issues.

If your COB glass filter has been damaged and can not simply be cleaned from the outside, we highly recommend sending this to an Authorized Repair Center for repair to ensure the longevity of further use for your unit.
