[Sidus Link Pro] Creating Projects and Scenes

Project

The project is a folder in the Sidus Link Pro Beta App used to manage multiple lighting control networks. After the project is successfully created, a wireless lighting network scene within the project can be established to realize wireless control and management of lighting equipment.

1.1 Demo project

The demo project is a virtual project provided by Sidus Link Pro Beta. Users can create demo scenes in demo projects, connect and control simulated devices. By simulating control of different devices in the demo project, users can still experience the workflow and functions of the Sidus Link Pro Beta App and quickly understand and get started with the App.

Notice:

  • After the demo project is deleted, you can restore the demo project by restoring factory settings in the settings;
  • The demo project is a virtual project that helps users who do not have lighting equipment temporarily experience lighting control. Users cannot add and control any real equipment in it;
  • If you need to connect and control lighting equipment, please create a new project and perform operations in the newly created project.

1.2 New project

Click the project add button or click the create card on the project page to create a new lighting control project. In the project folder, you can further create a wireless lighting network scene and configure and connect all required lighting devices. After the lighting device is successfully connected, it can be controlled and managed.

 

1.3 Import project

Users can use the local file import function to import locally saved project files, or import projects shared by others by scanning the QR code.

 

1.3.1 Local file import

  • Click the add icon in the upper right corner of the project page and click Import from local to open the local folder; select the relevant file and confirm the import, it will enter the local file transfer state, and the imported project can be used after the transfer is completed;
  • Sidus Link Pro Beta project file extension is ".sipf".

 

1.3.2 Face-to-face scan code file import

  • Click the add icon in the upper right corner of the project page , click scan code to import, open the camera to scan the QR code, and enter the file transfer state after the scan is successful. After the transfer is completed, the imported project can be used;
  • Please scan and import the QR code in a stable network environment;
  • Click the guide icon in the upper right corner of the scan code import page to open the scan code file import guide page, where users can view how to create connections with other devices.

 

Note: Face-to-face scanning file import only supports short-distance file transfer.

 

1.4 Project Management

Users can rename, add color tags, share, upload to the cloud, delete, etc. created projects in the project interface.

 

  • Project folder management. Click the management icon of the project folder to rename, add color tags, share, upload to cloud space, delete, etc. the current folder;
  • Search items. Click the search button in the upper right corner of the project page to search for projects by entering the project name; on the search page, you can choose to display all, only projects, or only scenes;
  • Filter items. Click the filter button in the upper right corner of the project page to filter projects; on the filter page, you can filter projects by color label and project creation time;
  • Project sorting. Click the sort button in the upper right corner of the project page to choose how to sort the projects; you can sort the projects in alphabetical order or creation time;
  • Batch sharing and deletion of projects. Click the batch selection button in the upper right corner of the project page and select the project folders that need to be operated. You can batch share or batch delete the selected folders.

 

2. Scene

2.1 Create a new scene

Click the Add button on the scene interface to create a new wireless lighting network scene. Add the configuration and connect the required lighting devices. After the lighting device is successfully connected, it can be controlled and managed.

 

2.2 Import scenes

Users can directly import local saved scene files locally, or import scenes shared by others by scanning the QR code.

 

2.2.1 Local file import

  • Click the add icon in the upper right corner of the scene interface and click Import from local to open the local folder; select the relevant file and confirm the import, which will enter the local file transfer state. After the transfer is completed, you can select the scene that needs to be imported from the imported project;
  • Sidus Link Pro Beta scene file extension is ".sisf".

 

2.2.2 Scan QR code to import files

  • Click the add icon in the upper right corner of the scene interface , click scan code to import, open the camera to scan the QR code, and enter the file transfer state after the scan is successful. After the transfer is completed, you can select the scene to be imported from the imported projects;

2.3 Scene management

Users can rename, share, upload to the cloud, delete, etc. created scenes on the scene interface.

 

  • Scene management. Click the scene management icon to rename, move, share, delete, etc. the current scene;
  • Search scenes. Click the search button in the upper right corner of the scene page to search by entering the scene name;
  • Filter scenes. Click the filter button in the upper right corner of the scene page to filter the scenes; on the filter page, you can filter the scenes by the project creation time;
  • Scene ordering. Click the sort button in the upper right corner of the scene page to select the scene sorting method; the scenes can be sorted according to alphabetical order or creation time;
  • Scene batch management. Click the batch selection button in the upper right corner of the scene page to select the scenes that need to be operated. You can batch move, batch share or batch delete the selected folders.
