[Sidus Link Pro] Managing Your Subscription
Upgrade, downgrade, switch billing cycles, request a refund, and toggle DMX output for your Sidus Link Pro subscription.
Overview
Sidus Link Pro offers three subscription tiers to match your workflow. Use this article to upgrade, downgrade, cancel, switch between monthly and yearly billing, and manage your DMX output paywall.

Upgrading from the Free Plan
If you are on the Free Plan and want to unlock DMX or CRMX control, upgrade directly from inside the app.
Launch Sidus Link Pro and sign in to your Sidus account.
Tap the Settings icon (top right of the main screen).
Select Subscription Management. This screen shows your current plan and upgrade options.
Choose Pro (1 DMX Universe) or MAX (4 DMX Universes).
Confirm the upgrade. Billing is handled by the App Store using your Apple ID. New features are available immediately.
Switching Between Pro and MAX
You can upgrade from Pro to MAX at any time. Apple prorates the cost difference automatically. Your billing cycle resets to match the new plan's start date on the upgrade.
Switching Between Monthly and Yearly Billing
You can change between monthly and yearly billing at any time from the App Store's subscription settings. The change takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Apple does not prorate the difference mid-cycle.
Downgrading to the Free Plan
You can move back to the Free Plan at any time. The process depends on whether you are on a monthly or yearly paid plan.
From a Monthly Plan
Go to Settings → Subscription Management.
Select Sidus Link Pro Free.
Your paid plan stays active until the end of the current billing cycle, then the app switches to Free.
From a Yearly Plan
Apple does not prorate yearly plans, so you need to request a refund to downgrade mid-term. If you keep the plan until its natural end date, it will renew unless you cancel.
Apple controls all subscription refunds. Aputure cannot issue refunds directly. If Apple does not grant your refund, contact your Aputure rep and we will work with you to find a resolution.
Requesting a Refund (Yearly Plan Downgrade)
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
Sign in with your Apple ID.
From the dropdown menu, select Request a Refund.
Choose Other.
Choose the Sidus Link Pro subscription.
Under Describe the Issue, enter: "App no longer offers the paid features I purchased and I would like a full refund."
Once the refund is granted, you are automatically downgraded to the Free Plan.
Do not just cancel the subscription in the App Store if you want a refund. Cancelling ends the plan at the current billing cycle but does not trigger a refund. Use the Report a Problem flow above instead.
DMX Output Control
Starting in V2.2, the app includes a DMX Output toggle under the Gear menu so you can enable or disable DMX output without changing plans. When a trial or subscription ends, the output toggle locks and the app prompts you to subscribe before DMX can resume.
Bluetooth control works on every plan, including Free. The DMX Output toggle only affects DMX and CRMX output. See Sidus BT View for Bluetooth-only workflows.
Finding Receipts and Billing History
Apple keeps all subscription receipts and billing history in your Apple ID account, not inside Sidus Link Pro. On your iPad:
Open Settings on your iPad.
Tap your name at the top.
Select Subscriptions.
Tap Sidus Link Pro. Receipts and billing dates are listed under Purchase History.
