[STORM 400x] Firmware Update V1.5

New DMX Profiles to align with the STORM x Series lights

This update must be performed with a USB drive. The update over Sidus Link and Sidus Link Pro will be coming soon. 

New Features

  1. Added new DMX Profiles to align with STORM x Series: XT52, 1200x, and 700x.
    • Profiles 13-16: CCT & xy
    • Profiles 17- 20: Limited CCT & RGB
    • Profiles 25-28: RGB
    • Profiles 29-32: RGBA
    • The STORM 700x and 400x now match one to one, including the addition to the DMX FX Profiles with the Variable channel. XT52 and 1200x DMX FX Profiles will receive this Variable channel in a future update.
  2. Added Random Strobe behavior for DMX Control Channels

Optimizations

  1. Updated DMX Smoothing: Feather Mode performance.
  2. Revised the DMX profile menu structure. DMX Profiles are now separated into Basic Configuration and Control Configuration.
  3. Removed the manual fan DMX control option in the UI. The light now switches automatically when Control Profiles are selected.
  4. Updated DMX FX profiles.
  5. Updated fan mode behavior.
  6. Updated over temperature behavior and error messages.
  7. Updated default settings after a factory reset.
    • HSIC+ hue resets to 0 degrees.
    • Fan mode defaults to Smart Mode.
    • xy mode defaults to x 4234 and y 3989 to produce 3200K.
    • When reset CRMX, CRMX will also be enabled.
  8. Updated Studio Mode text. Added clarification that when Studio Mode is Off and DMX data is present, the light will turn on with power.
  9. On DMX Control Profiles, updated signal flash confirmation. The light now flashes red at 20 percent brightness three times for DMX control channel confirmation.
  10. Improved error code classification. EC.010 and EH.010 are now general error codes with updated text.
  11. The light no longer automatically turns back on after cooling. The controller must be used to power it back on.
  12. Added a fan failure indicator with a green light.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed DMX HSIC+ output intensity error.
  2. Fixed incorrect hue adjustment range in HSIC+. It now ranges from 0 to 359.9 degrees.
  3. Fixed incorrect readback of HSIC+ parameters from the app.
  4. Fixed an issue where DMX random strobe behaved incorrectly when other DMX parameters changed.
  5. Fixed an issue where certain FX modes, such as Paparazzi, would stop running when frequency was adjusted.
  6. Fixed a problem where a one time signal flash could be interrupted.
  7. Fixed a problem where menu pages did not update in real time when using P3, P5, P9 or CRMX or DMX modes, which caused scroll wheel errors.
  8. Fixed a problem where DMX channel related menu values did not refresh when changed from the physical interface.
  9. Fixed UI display problems during Sidus BT auto configuration in the CRMX menu.
  10. Fixed Bluetooth reset failure when Bluetooth was previously turned off.
  11. Fixed overflow conditions that could cause illumination values to exceed safe limits and trigger adapter over current restart.
  12. Fixed temperature error codes that were auto clearing when they should not.
  13. Fixed automatic clearing of fan error codes. These now require a software power cycle.
  14. Fixed an issue where error codes did not clear until the next power up.
  15. Fixed an issue where signal flash behavior did not complete properly.
  16. Fixed strobe parameter in DMX modes.
  17. Revised “Hold Last Setting” to “Hold Last Look”
