[STORM CS32] Low-Temperature Preheat Procedure

At low ambient temperatures, the electronic components inside the Control Box and power adapter suffer degraded performance. To protect these components and prevent cold-related failures, the STORM CS32 includes an automatic low-temperature preheat procedure that lets it operate reliably in extreme cold.

When the ambient temperature drops below -20°C/-4°F, with the Control Box properly connected to the Lamp Head, the system automatically triggers preheating on power-on. The fixture lights up and runs preheating at 50% brightness (1600W) for a fixed 10 minutes. All control functions become fully operable once preheating completes.

To minimize preheating time in extreme cold, keep the Control Box warm and its air vents clear. If you need to abort preheating in an emergency, turn off the power switch, unplug the mains power cable, or disconnect the Lamp Head Cable.
