[STORM CS32] Safety Instructions

Follow these basic safety precautions whenever you use the STORM CS32.

General Safety

  1. Read and understand all instructions before using the fixture.
  2. Close supervision is necessary when the fixture is used by or near children. Do not leave the fixture unattended while in use.
  3. Take care to avoid burns from touching hot surfaces.
  4. Do not operate the fixture if any cord is damaged, or if the fixture has been dropped or damaged, until it has been examined by qualified service personnel.
  5. Route power cables so they can't be tripped over, pulled, or brought into contact with hot surfaces.
  6. If an extension cord is necessary, use one rated for at least the fixture's required amperage. Cords rated for less will overheat.
  7. Always unplug the fixture before cleaning, servicing, or when not in use. Never yank the cord to remove the plug from the outlet.
  8. Let the fixture cool completely before storing it. Unplug the cables and store them in the assigned spaces of the carrying case, if used.
  9. Do not immerse the fixture in water or any other liquid.
  10. Do not disassemble the fixture. Contact cs@aputure.com or a qualified service technician for repairs. Incorrect reassembly can cause electric shock.
  11. Using accessories not recommended by Aputure may increase the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.
  12. Power the fixture from a grounded outlet.
  13. Remove the Protective Cover before use.
  14. Do not block ventilation openings, look directly at the LED light source when powered on, or touch the LED light source under any condition.
  15. Keep the fixture away from combustible and volatile solvents.
  16. Clean the fixture with a soft, dry cloth.
  17. Make sure all ports and plugs are completely dry before use in wet environments, to avoid short circuit or electric shock.
  18. Service and maintenance should only be performed by authorized personnel. Malfunctions caused by unauthorized disassembly are not covered by warranty.
  19. When rigging the fixture overhead, always attach an additional safety measure, such as a safety chain rated for the fixture's weight. Aputure recommends using only original Aputure cable accessories; malfunctions caused by unauthorized accessories are not covered by warranty.
  20. This product is certified by RoHS, CE, KC, PSE, and FCC. Operate it in compliance with your country's relevant standards. Malfunctions caused by incorrect use are not covered by warranty.
