[STORM XT52] System Settings

System Settings include: Accessory, Dimming Curve, Power and Output, White Light Standard, Fan Mode, Studio Mode, Screensaver, Language, Product Info, Firmware Update and Factory Reset options.

 

Accessory

Press the MENU button to enter the menu, rotate the Select knob and press briefly to enter "Accessories." In the Accessories menu, you can set the motorized Fresnel and view the optical accessory information.

(1) Motorized Fresnel: When the fixture is equipped with the Motorized CF16 Fresnel, you can enter this interface to manually adjust the beam angle.

(2) Optical Accessories: When utilizing an Optical Aputure-Mount Accessory, the type of accessory can be viewed in the "Optical Accessories" window. The following accessories are available: Narrow-angle reflector, Medium-angle reflector, Wide-angle reflector, Barn Door adapter, AM Light Dome 150 and AM Lantern 120.

 

Dimming Curve

The following Dimming Curves are available: Linear, Logarithmic, S-Curve and Exponential.

 

Power and Output

In the Power and Output settings, you can make the following adjustments:

1) Constant Output: The lamp's brightness is kept consistent throughout the color temperature range.

2) Max Output: The lamp's brightness is prioritized throughout the color temperature range.

3) Power and Output: Set the maximum output power of the fixture according to the output capacity of the power supply system.

In the maximum power settings interface, you can set the fixture's maximum AC power consumption and choose the length of the lamp head connection cable. Maximum power can also be set from the DMX control channel. See the DMX Chart for values. The fixture will automatically limit the maximum LED power output to ensure the stability of the power supply system.

 

White Light Standard

(1) CIE Daylight: Meets the Sunlight Standard

(5000K-10000K, Duv is controlled at 0.0020~0.0040).

(2) Blackbody: Meets the Blackbody Luminescence Standard

(Duv is controlled near the blackbody trajectory line).

 

Fan Mode

In System Settings > Fan Mode, rotate the Select Wheel and press to choose one of six modes:

• Smart: automatically adjusts fan speed for the lowest noise possible at the current temperature (-20°C/-4°F to 50°C/122°F)
• Max: runs the fan at maximum speed at all times for maximum cooling
• High: constant fan speed, optimal cooling (-20°C/-4°F to 45°C/113°F)
• Medium: constant fan speed, balances noise and operating range (-20°C/-4°F to 35°C/95°F)
• Low: constant, reduced fan speed for quieter operation
• Silent: the fan stays off and output is fixed at 600W, independent of the maximum power setting (-20°C/-4°F to 45°C/113°F)

The STORM XT52 does not have a Delayed mode. If a DMX value in the Delayed range is sent, the fixture runs in Low instead.

To control the fan over DMX, select a DMX Control Profile. See What do all the Fan Modes do? for details on each mode.

 

Studio Mode

When Studio Mode is ON, the fixture will power on when connected to live power.

When Studio Mode is OFF, press the power button to power on or power off the fixture.

 

Screensaver

Select the Screensaver time and display behavior.

 

Language

Select between English or Chinese and press the Select Wheel to confirm.

 

Product Information

The Version, SN, Sidus BT ID and Operating status can all be checked in the Product Info interface.

1) Version: Displays the firmware and hardware versions of the Control Box and attached Lamp Head on a single page.

2) SN: Serial Number

3) Sidus BT ID.

4) Operating status: Display the Temperature, Control Box and attached Lamp Head Run Time and any Error Code.

Errors are divided into two categories:

a. Serious error: When a serious error occurs, the fixture cannot be used and will be locked for protection. Please respond to the error according to the fault prompt.

b. General error: When a general error occurs, the fixture is still available for use enter the Product Info interface to view the error details.

c. Error Log: Corresponding sensor data for each error, enabling quick and accurate fault diagnosis.

 

Firmware Update

Upgrade the firmware by inserting a USB flash drive with the latest firmware on its root drive into the USB-A port of the Control Box . The current firmware version is also listed in this interface.

 

Factory Reset

To Factory Reset your fixture, first select if the fixture should have the CRMX and the Sidus BT Settings reset. Also select the default language, then select “YES”. Select "NO" to cancel. Choose to Reset CRMX, Reset Sidus BT, Default Language. Hold the Menu button for 5 seconds to initiate the Factory Reset Shortcut.
