[LS 1200d Pro] Repair- Lens Filter Replacement & Bowens Mount Latch

Guide for replacing the front housing assembly: Bowens Mount Release Pin, Broken Lens Filter.

Difficulty: Easy

Tools Needed:

  • T10 screwdriver or hex bit 
  • T15 screwdriver or hex bit.
  • Screw driver version or a Hex Bit Set.

Removal Process: 

  1. Remove the front (8) T15 Bolts.

  2. Then remove the (6) T10 bolts from the bottom and sides of the light.

  3. Once removed the entire face assembly should be able to be lifted from the body.

Reassembly Notes: 🚧🚧🚨🚨

  • Use reverse order to assemble the fixture.
  • Do not over-tighten bolts as they will become stripped in doing so.
  • Rule of Thumb do not tighten screws completely until all screws are in place.
