[STORM 80c] Adjusting the Mini ProLock Bowens Mount on the STORM 80c
How to fine tune the Mini ProLock Bowens Mount on the STORM 80c for more or less friction when attaching Mini Bowens modifiers/accessories.
Before getting started, please note:
Opening up the unit to make adjustments is done at your own risk, any damages (such as stripped/lost screws, cracks, or damages to the COB while the glass filter is off) that may occur during this process can not be covered under this units current warranty.
What you'll need
The only tool you will need for this is a Screwdriver with a S2 T8 Star Screw Head.

Removing the Faceplate/Glass Filter
Start by unscrewing the 4 inner screws that hold the glass filter in, followed by the 4 outer screws holding the faceplate on.

CAUTION: Please be carful once the glass filter has been removed not to allow anything to fall into/touch the COB. Any damages caused to the COB after the unit has been voluntarily opened up by a user can not be covered under warranty.
Removing the Mini ProLock Bowens Mount
Remove the three screws on the back side of the faceplate to free the Prolock threading from the faceplate.

Adjusting the Lock
Once the lock has been removed, you will see a few different holes in the back side of the lock, as well as holes going around the faceplate.
There are Three "Adjusting Holes" on the lock itself, and may "fine tuner" holes going around the faceplate.
The Primary fine tuner is located at the Top Middle of the Faceplate.
You can tighten or loosen the lock depending on which hole on the ProLock you place at the top middle of the faceplate.

When looking at the back of the Lock, placing the leftmost hole in the primary tuner will tighten the lock and it will clamp down much sooner.

Placing the rightmost hole in the center primary tuner will loosen the lock and it will clamp down later.
