WILL THE XT26 RUN ON HOUSEHOLD POWER? WHAT ARE OTHER POWER OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR THE UNITS?

Depending on the territory in the world, the XT26 can be powered from household circuits. In the US, the XT26 requires more than 110v/30a so will ship in the US with multiple cables. A 60a Bates connector will allow full power and a 20a Edison plug will inform the Control Box to automatically limit power draw. You can also purchase the XT26 with bare end leads to allow users to mount their custom plug solutions, such as a 220V LV14-30 30A RV/dryer outlet.

WHAT IS THE STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION LIKE FOR THESE UNITS?

The Electro Storm lights and accessories are large and require large cases. They are also ruggedly constructed. Many productions choose to transport and store such fixtures on shelves or carts without cases, so the Electro Storms are available for purchase with or without cases. Factory cases are designed to hold the complete XT26 lamphead, control box, cables and basic accessories as a complete set. In North America and other territories, optional two-case configurations are available to separate the components into smaller units that can be more easily shipped. All cases are on wheels and are stackable.

WHAT BOWENS MOUNT ACCESSORIES ARE OPTIMIZED FOR THE ELECTRO STORM UNITS?

While the Electro Storm lights feature the new Aputure Mount for accessories such as the F14 fresnel and the set of three reflectors, the XT26 also includes a Bowens mount nestled within the Aputure Mount. Aputure offers several accessories appropriate for use with these lights: the Light Dome 150 soft box, the Lantern 90 diffuser globe, and the Spotlight Max projector.
