[INFINIBAR] Wireless DMX Control (CRMX)
INFINIBAR Wireless DMX Control (CRMX)
INFINIBARS can be controlled wirelessly with CRMX wireless DMX. See article What is CRMX?
On software versions older then V1.6, the fixture must have the "DMX Address" screen displayed for the fixture to listen to DMX data.
To enabled CRMX Control
Press MENU to access the system menu, rotate and press the Function Control Wheel to select CRMX Setting mode.
CRMX Status: When CRMX Status is ON, it will continuously search for a linking signal in the background to connect.
Unlink: Unlink will disconnect the currently established connection so that another Transmitter's signal can be paired.
Linking
Press the Function Control Wheel to select CRMX Settings.
If the CRMX chip of your fixture has never been linked with a CRMX Transmitter before, then use the Function Control Wheel to select "ON" within the CRMX Settings Screen; this will allow the fixture to search for a link signal from a Transmitter.
If your fixture is not linked to a Transmitter, the "Unlink" selection will not be available.
When you press the Link button on your Transmitter, your INFINIBAR screen will show a "Linking" animation screen followed by a "Link Success" screen. Your fixture is now linked and the lamp's screen will automatically return to the DMX Status window.
CRMX signal strength is indicated by the bars in the upper left of the screen; if you have gone out of signal range, then a blinking "X" will appear next to the signal indicator.
Next to the signal indicator, "! No data" flashes on and off whenever your fixture is linked to an active Transmitter, but no DMX signal is present.
On software versions older then V1.6, the fixture must have the "DMX Address" screen displayed for the fixture to listen to DMX data.
Unlinking
Selecting "Unlink" in the CRMX Settings will disconnect the currently established connection so that another Transmitter's signal can be paired.
If BT Settings (Sidus Link Mesh BT) is enabled ("ON"), then CRMX is disabled ("OFF") automatically. If CRMX is enabled ("ON"), the BT Settings (Sidus Mesh BT) are disabled ("OFF") automatically.
