[MC Pro] Studio Mode

How to use Studio Mode on MC Pro

Studio Mode on the MC Pro works by bypassing the internal battery and relying on the USB-C Power input.

When a USB-C cable is connected, the light operates solely on external power. If the power is interrupted or the cable is disconnected, the light will turn off. When power is restored, the light will power on.

When Studio mode is On, if power cannot be restored for any reason, you can manually turn the light back on using the battery by holding the power button for a few seconds.

When Studio Mode is set to On: Power with Input, light turns on when power is applied and turns off when power is removed.

When Studio Mode is set to Off: Power with Button, light turns on when the power button is pushed and turns off when the power button is pushed.

Studio mode is off by default.

How to Enable Studio Mode

  • Press the Menu Button.
  • Using the red scroll wheel, select System Settings and click the red wheel.
  • Scroll to Studio Mode and and click the red wheel.
  • Change option to: On: Power with Input and click the red wheel.

The MC Pro is now in studio mode.

To restore the light back to the default setting, Select Off: Power With Button.

Build you MC Pros into sets and they can automatically turn off when power is cut.
