DOES THE SPOTLIGHT SE COME WITH A GEL HOLDER LIKE THE APUTURE SPOTLIGHT MOUNT?

No, the Spotlight SE does not include a Gel holder like the Aputure Spotlight Mount.

DOES THE SPOTLIGHT SE COME WITH AN IRIS ATTACHMENT?

The standard Spotlight SE kit does NOT come with an M-Sized 18-Leaf Spotlight SE Iris. Users may purchase the Spotlight SE Iris separately.

CAN THE SPOTLIGHT SE USE THE PROJECTION LENSES OF THE APUTURE SPOTLIGHT MOUNT?

No, the Spotlight SE does not share interchangeable optics with the Aputure Spotlight Mount. The Spotlight SE utilizes a much smaller and lighter form factor, whereas the Aputure Spotlight Mount uses heavier and larger optics. Users should also note that the Spotlight SE accepts only M-Sized Gobos, which are smaller than the regular-sized Gobos designed to be used with the Spotlight Mount.

CAN THE SPOTLIGHT SE USE ACCESSORIES MEANT FOR THE SPOTLIGHT MINI ZOOM?

The Spotlight SE and Spotlight Mini Zoom utilize the same M-Sized Gobo inserts and M-Sized 18-Leaf Iris, meaning these items may be used interchangeably between the two projection lenses.

WHAT KIND OF LIGHTS ARE THE SPOTLIGHT SE OPTIMIZED FOR?

The Spotlight SE is compatible with Bowens Mount point-source fixtures under 300W of output.

WHAT IS THE LARGEST LIGHT THAT THE SPOTLIGHT SE CAN BE USED WITH?

The Spotlight SE is not recommended for use with lights with outputs of higher than 300W. This means that the largest lights that this Spotlight can be paired with are fixtures such as the amaran 300c, Aputure LS C300d II, and Aputure LS 300x.

DOES THE SPOTLIGHT SE COME WITH A CARRYING CASE?

The Spotlight SE comes in an EPP carrying case similar to the amaran 150c or 300c. A fabric carrying bag similar in style to the LS 60d/x or the Aputure Spotlight Mini Zoom can be purchased separately in the future. These carrying case options make it transporting and storing the Spotlight SE safely incredibly easy.
