[Sidus One] My iPad won't join the Sidus One's Wi-Fi hotspot, how do I fix it?
Steps to fix an iPad that cannot join the Sidus One's Wi-Fi hotspot: Forget the Hotspot's SSID on your iPad, factory reset the device, cycle the device's Wi-Fi modes, send a CRMX Link command, and then rejoin the device's Wi-Fi hotspot again.
Troubleshooting steps if your iPad will not connect to the Sidus One's Wi-Fi hotspot:
- On the iPad, open Settings > Wi-Fi, tap the Sidus One network, and choose Forget This Network.
- Factory reset the Sidus One by holding the Reset button for 3 seconds. The Mode Status lights will all flash for a few seconds when resetting to default.
- Cycle the Sidus One's Wi-Fi mode: Hold the AP/STA button for 3 seconds to cycle which Wifi Mode it is in. First hold it for 3 seconds to switch from Access Point mode to Station mode, then hold it for 3 seconds to switch it to Off, finally hold it for 3 seconds to switch it back to Access Point mode.
- Short tap the Link Button, which will broadcast a CRMX linking handshake to fixtures in range to re-establish the CRMX link.
After completing these steps, the Sidus One's unique Wi-Fi hotspot should appear again in your iPad's Settings > Wi-Fi list. Select it and enter the Password engraved on the back of the device to rejoin it's Wi-Fi hotspot to resume normal transmitter operation.
