[Sidus One] Setup (4) Sidus Ones with Sidus Link Pro to control (4) separate Universes
Setup (4) Sidus Ones with Sidus Link Pro to control (4) separate Universes
- Make (1) Sidus One an Ap (Wireless Router)
- After creating a project and scene, select the "+" found at the top of your Scene toolbar.
1. Create a Project.
2. Create a new Scene.
3. Select "Configure Wireless Transceiver".
4. Press and hold the AP/STA button on Sidus One for 3 seconds to put Sidus One into the Network Distribution State -- indicated by the AP and STA light blinking rapidly in sync.
5. Click to acknowledge that your Sidus One is in Network Distribution State and then select "Next".
6. View Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) and password on the back of Sidus One.
7. Select the Sidus Ones you wish to configure and then select "Set Up". *A maximum of (4) Sidus Ones are supported in the Sidus One Network.
8. Choose which Sidus One will be the AP from the devices listed and select the "Set Up" button.
9. Once configuration is complete, ensure that your device is connected to your Sidus One (AP) Wi-Fi Network.
10. After returning to the Sidus Pro App, the Art-Net/sACN indicator light of Sidus One will go solid if any fixtures are patched on the Universe Sidus One is listening for.
11. In the Connection Management interface, the Sidus One (AP) and any Sidus One (STA) clients will be listed in the Wireless Transceiver page. Settings for all Sidus Ones in the network can be managed here.
12. The Network page lists your Sidus One AP's Network Name and IP.
13. The Wireless Transceiver page lists your Sidus One AP and the Sidus One STA(s) connected to your network. Universe settings and CRMX settings can be set here.
14. Sidus One can listen for Art-Net Universe 1-4 or sACN Universe 1-4. Whichever Universe Sidus One is listening for, is the Universe it will transmit via CRMX and send out of the 3-pin DMX adapter. If fixtures are patched to this Universe, the Art-Net/sACN indicator will be SOLID and the DMX indicator will also be ON. You can now LINK your Sidus Ones (AP & STA) to fixtures utilizing CRMX.
15. After patching fixtures to each Sidus One's Universe, the CRMX indicator, Art-Net/sACN indicator, DMX indicator, and Sidus Mesh indicator of Sidus One will light up.
This completes the network setup between Sidus Link Pro and Sidus One. Now you can make CRMX connections from each Sidus One or use their wired DM port to connect to your fixtures. Please refer to CRMX Out and Wired DMX Output.
- After creating a project and scene, select the "+" found at the top of your Scene toolbar.
