What is the optimal place to put the external controller to activate music effects?
To produce optimal color effects via Music Effects, the audio source should be approximately 30cm (11.81in) away from the external controller. Placing the audio source further than 30cm away from the external controller’s built-in microphone will cause the Music Effects to be not as reactive to the audio source.

Does the amaran SM5c come with an adhesive backing?
Yes, the amaran SM5c includes a 3M double-sided adhesive tape. To install the SM5c to a surface, tear off the dust proof paper tape on the back of the strip light. For best results, install the SM5c to smooth surfaces and walls. For additional reinforcement, such as around corners, the SM5c includes an additional adhesive tape. 3M adhesive tape is designed for home use, and usually does not damage the paint of the wall.

How do I pair the amaran SM5c with Sidus Link?
The Sidus Link app is available to download on your phone or tablet from the App Store or Google Play to unlock the SM5c’s full feature set and controls. Once downloaded, create a new scene to add a new light fixture, or add the fixture to an existing scene. To pair the amaran SM5c with Sidus Link, hold down the second button on the external controller to activate Bluetooth reset. The amaran SM5c should appear in the Sidus Link app as a new fixture. How do I pair the amaran SM5c with smart speakers?
Voice-control capabilities with Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant are activated via W-Fi on the Tuya Smart app, which can be downloaded on your phone or tablet from the App Store or Google Play. Once installed, follow the instructions within the Tuya Smart app to create a Tuya Smart account. To pair the amaran SM5c with the Tuya Smart app, hold down the first button on the external controller to activate Wi-Fi reset and add the amaran SM5c device on the app. To connect the Tuya Smart app with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, sign in with your Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant account.
