[STORM Series] GDTF Profiles for Sidus Link Pro
Download GDTF v1.2 fixture profiles for STORM XT52, 1200x, 700x, and 400x. Import into Sidus Link Pro to patch and control these fixtures with full DMX mode coverage.
GDTF (General Device Type Format) is the open standard for describing lighting fixtures to control software. Sidus Link Pro can import a .gdtf file to automatically configure all of a fixture's DMX modes, channel functions, and value ranges for patching.
This article provides ready-to-import GDTF profiles for the STORM XT52, STORM 1200x, STORM 700x, and STORM 400x. Each file includes every DMX profile the fixture supports (Profiles 1 through 32 for all four fixtures, plus Profiles 101 through 132 covering the motorized zoom accessory on the XT52 and 1200x).
First release. These GDTF profiles are first-release files generated from the official STORM family DMX Profile Specification. If you find an import error or a channel mapping that doesn't match fixture behavior, please report it through the Aputure support channel.

What's included in each profile
Every GDTF profile covers all DMX modes documented in the STORM family DMX specification, organized into seven color-mode families:
- CCT+ — color temperature with green-magenta correction (Profiles 1-6)
- xy — CIE 1931 color coordinates (Profiles 7-12)
- CCT & xy — combined CCT and CIE control (Profiles 13-16)
- Limited CCT & RGB — CCT with additive RGB (Profiles 17-20)
- Limited HSIC+ — hue, saturation, intensity, CCT, green-magenta (Profiles 21-24)
- RGB — additive red, green, blue (Profiles 25-28)
- RGBA — RGB plus amber (Profiles 29-32)
Each color family has 8-bit and 16-bit variants, plus + Control variants (adding Strobe, Control Channel, and Fan Mode channels) and + FX & Control variants for CCT+ and xy (adding the seven STORM effects: Fireworks, Faulty Bulb, TV, Pulsing, Strobe, Explosion, and Fire).
The XT52 and 1200x profiles also include 32 additional modes (Profiles 101 through 132) that mirror the base modes with an extra Zoom channel for the motorized zoom accessory.

The ±Green channel includes a "do not patch" range (DMX 11-20 in 8-bit modes) marking the boundary between minus-green and zero-green. The GDTF channel-set names flag this range, but consoles still allow operators to send those values. Avoid them when programming.
